The Isomac Zaffiro is one of the best single boiler machines on the market. It is very highly regarded and is praised in reviews.

The single boiler serves two functions - to supply water for making espresso and to produce steam for frothing milk. The machine is easily switched from one mode to the other with a switch on the front panel. The boiler is large for a single boiler machine which helps keep the water temperature stable and allows you to draw several perfect espressos consecutively.

Like all the machines from Isomac it is solidly built. It is constructed from quality heavy-gauge polished stainless steel panelling and has metal components throughout. It features a professional E61 group head (the E61 group head was originally developed by Faema) which is made from solid brass with chrome plating. Water circulates through the group head and the boiler (thermosyphon), and the solid metal of the group head acts as a heat sink helping to stabilise the water temperature as you draw your espresso.
